The Spanish Economic Association was established in December, 1996.
The main goal of the Spanish Economic Association is the promotion and dissemination of scientific knowledge in Economics through the organization of congresses, publications and in general any other activity that may further that declared aim. The association therefore offers important services for the development of scientific activity in Spain in the area of economics.
The regular activities of the Spanish Economic Association include:
• The organization of the Annual Economics Symposium
• The publication of the Journal of the Spanish Economic Association-SERIEs
• The organization of the Job Market for new PhD in Economics
Membership to the Spanish Economic Association entails a subscription to the Spanish Economic Review.
